Biological test methods

The development of biological test methods aims to scientifically investigate quality aspects that are affected by special pharmaceutical processes to be achieved by specific pharmaceutical processes.

Since these aspects of quality come into play in the living, we try to observe in the test systems precisely the processes in the living, i.e. in the growth and development of living beings. Based on the observations, questions about the quality of the preparations and their modes of action can be investigated.

In our laboratories, we have already been able to develop various approaches that are constantly being improved. These include, in addition to germination trials (e.g. of dwarf peas, wheat and cress), but also growth trials with untreated or stressed adult plants (e.g. duckweed and Arabidopsis).
