Stinking Hellebore (Helleborus foetidus L.)

We are currently investigating fermented and unfermented extracts of H. foetidus plants harvested at different seasons. The plant contains a broad spectrum of interesting constituents. More detailed phytochemical analyses are being carried out and cytotoxic effects in vitro on both healthy and cancer cells are being tested. Further investigations follow. Based on these results and further aspects, we want to develop a safe and effective medicinal product.
