In addition to various mistletoe preparations (with aqueous fermented mistletoe extracts), we have developed a resinous extract containing the lipophilic components of mistletoe. Rudolf Steiner points out the importance of this "glue-like substance" for cancer treatment.
Initially, a cream was developed from the resinous extract from mistletoe. Retrospective case series studies have shown that this cream may facilitate positive courses of skin lesions (read more here). Currently we are also developing an O/W emulsion containing this lipophilic, resinous mistletoe extract.
We are also investigating the fermentation of mistletoe. Among other things, we are monitoring microbiological aspects in the course of this production process. This lactic fermentation is an essential process in the production of aqueous mistletoe preparations.
