Basic Anthroposophical Research

We explore anthroposophical aspects of the VfK's research fields, which we continuously deepen together in discourse. Questions about mistletoe, its properties as a medicinal plant and its host trees as well as pharmaceutical processing are just as much a part of our work as questions about human constitution and the pathology of cancer and its treatment.

Our department is responsible for the Arlesheim Mistletoe and Cancer Study Days, at which we discuss and further develop the results of our work with an interested specialist audience.

Within the organisation, the department offers introductory and further training courses on anthroposophy in general as well as on specific topics. We also deal with the research history of the Society for Cancer Research and manage the archive and library.
