PhD theses

PhD theses can be carried out at the Hiscia Research Institute. This is done in collaboration with various university institutes in the fields of biomedical sciences, pharmacy and human and veterinary medicine.

Two models are possible for doctorates:
They can be carried out at various universities (e.g. Basel, Bern, Berlin, Kassel/Witzenhausen) in cooperation with university lecturers there and under supervision at the Hiscia Research Institute.
You can do your doctorate at the Faculty of Health at the University of Witten/Herdecke (DE) with PD Dr. Stephan Baumgartner (board member of the Society for Cancer Research). Here, a doctorate to the degree of Dr. med. is possible for human medicine graduates or a doctorate to the degree of Dr. rer. medic. for natural scientists.

In recent years, the Hiscia Research Institute has worked on various topics with a focus on medicine and health sciences. At the moment, eight doctoral students are working at the Hiscia Research Institute.
